You've booked your professional window cleaning with Winters Window Washing — great choice! To make sure everything goes smoothly and you get the best possible results, here's a simple checklist to prepare your home before our team arrives.
Inside Your Home
Clear window sills and ledges — Remove candles, plants, picture frames, knick-knacks, and any other items sitting on or directly in front of your windows. This protects your valuables and saves time (additional charges may apply for excessive item removal).
Pull back curtains and blinds — Open all window treatments fully so we have clear, unobstructed access to every window.
Move furniture if needed — If any large furniture pieces are directly blocking a window, please move them beforehand. Let us know in advance if you need help and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Secure your pets — For everyone's safety and comfort, please keep pets in a separate room or area during the cleaning.
Outside Your Home
Clear pathways and landscaping — Make sure walkways around the perimeter of your home are clear and accessible for our ladders and equipment.
Turn off sprinkler systems — Please make sure your irrigation system is turned off on the day of the cleaning and for a few hours afterward.
Secure or move outdoor furniture — If patio furniture is directly under or in front of windows, moving it gives us better access and prevents any accidental drips.
Do You Need to Be Home?
No — you don't need to be home during the cleaning! Many of our Steamboat Springs clients aren't home when we arrive. Just make sure arrangements are made in advance for access to the interior of your home and for payment. We'll handle everything professionally and leave your windows spotless.
